Gimme a Quote

One of my 'assignments' for my new role at work is to submit a quote, proverb, or saying that describes me as a leader or that inspires me.  I am limited to 20 words.

I have never spent time drilling down through various quotes to see which ones inspire me.  I don't have any words of wisdom adorning my office or home walls.  In short, I haven't the slightest clue what to send in.

I am thinking the team at the home office is going to use these quotes to some end at our upcoming trainers conference, so it needs to be something that actually fits the bill.  I've asked my staff, and one of them responded with a very cheeky "Never give up, never surrender!" from Galaxy Quest.  And that made me think of "There's no crying in baseball!" from A League of Their Own.  But neither is very inspiring, though both describe me as a leader and a person.

The quotes can be from just about any source, so I'm asking for your help.  Gimme everything you can think of that would fit the bill.

Thanks.

I love this one.

What makes leadership is the ability to get people to do what they
don't want to do and like it.

There is the familiar quote, I think by Vince Lombardi, but not sure that says "Lead, follow, or get out of the way."

John Wooden as a a few qoutes on leadership that a good too.

This may not be appropriate for your particular workplace,, but one of my favorite verses to remind me of stength is this:Isaiah 40:31,"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
