This Christmas Eve
I am off to work in a couple of minutes. I hope to spread some holiday cheer at work today. I'd better find some first, heh. I'm tarred, so very very tarred. If you're doing any last minute holiday shopping, I encourage you to be kind and patient with the folks you meet along the way. I may very well be one of them.

In case I had to tell you this- I am an excellent consumer. I am the person who rolls their eyes and amkes snarky remarks to the staff after the customer from Hell finally leaves the counter.
Why don't you be assertive and vocally support the staff instead of waiting until the jerk leaves?
It never occured to me that I should say "you madam, are a twat who is wasting this hard-working individual's time." I always thought my being an easy-going, willing-to-wait-while-they-deal-with some-idiot customer, and agreeing with all the staff's gripes about that idiot was enough.
You should publish a book on being a good shopper.
