Martha, if I moved across town, it would take me 60-90 minutes to get to work, which is why I have such a difficult time deciding whether or not to buy a house. One of the reasons, anyway.

Good luck on the house issues. That is a difficult call.
there are days i just love having a house and then there are days where i want to go back to renting and calling someone to come fix things for me. since you work a lot so renting makes sense. maybe you should just buy land?

My commute is about 6 minutes, and that's IF I get stuck behind a school bus.
If you are undecided than that might be your answer. Perhaps the right place is out there, but it's just not the right time yet?
Takes me less than three minutes to leave my front door and arriving at work. It really is nice...
On an unrelated note . . . I think I'm the top red dot on the Western edge of that map of the U.S. I dunno why I noticed that but, I think it's cool.
Yeah, tough call. Pre-2-minute-commute, I was driving an hour each way; it's really what prompted me to look elsewhere for a job.
(And, on the subject of the map, I think I'm the eastern-most visitor.
